START THE DAY –LEMON WATER
Ingredients:  Juice from ¼ - ½ lemon (depending how much you like lemon!)
Optional:  ½ cinnamon stick, 1 cardamom pod.  
Add all ingredients to your teapot  and pour boiled water from the kettle.  Let it cool down a bit before pouring.
Your body will love you for starting each day with Lemon Water  - the benefits include:
Providing a great PH balance.   Lemons are acidic by nature but when absorbed by the body are alkalising.  
Help flush out toxins such as uric acid (acidic end products from alcohol and protein).  
Prevents dehydration and can be combined with your daily intake of water. 
Boosts your immune system due to Vitamin C content.  Vitamin C is also great for the skin.
High in pectin fibre making your stomach feel fuller and help hunger cravings.
Mineral content such as Calcium, Potassium and Selenium.
